POLL: Who wants animal cruelty to stop forever?

I'm with you. I hate animal cruelty. It saddens me whenever I hear about animals being abused and mistreated. Just because they can't talk doesn't mean they don't have feelings.

I've heard about those poor cats in South Florida. I hope they find whoever's doing it soon and lock him behind bars.

I have mixed feelings about animal cruelty. I am all for stopping cruelty when it comes to drowning kittens and clubbing seals, and beating doggies. But not so much when it comes to swatting the biting flies, poisoning the fleas on my dog and burning lime disease carrying dear tics off of my kids legs...

As long as there are different definitions of cruelty, not everyone will ever be happy.

I'd like to see such a day - but the wild animals refuse to get on board.

So there will always be animal cruelty, and most of it will (as is true now, and has been from time immemorial) be perpetrated by other (non-human) animals.

I like how you feel bad for all the ''cutesey animals'' but pay no mind to all the other animals wich get mutilated and harmed every single day.. .

now i know its cruel what they are doing and your question was meant with good intent, but just the way you disregarded animals like farm animals saying/agreeing with prayer worker they are bread for that purpose well they should not be , and there should deffinatley not be a bias in protecting or caring for something based on wether it is cute and cuddelly

humans are animals to, were all just the same, just because we can read and write doesnt make us of any higher importance

So i think you need to take your own advice and think about what i actually wrote, IT IS MY OPINION that NO animal should be killed even if in a humaine way to meet the needs of human beings who are infact animals themselves, and i do believe if a human kills another human they get arrested? so why not the same if a human kills anything. This shows how highley humans place themselves in rank with anything else

Yeah definately. All animals are precious, even the ones we may not like as much personally- they all have a reason for being on this earth.

God gave us different kinds of animals for different purposes and i believe what your talking about below is cruel because i love cats but if your talking using horses for roping cattle and rodeos and such then i say NO because they are being treated better then you think and cows were breed for eating, same thing for sheep and pigs and..well you see my meaning.

I think it should never have been started. I'm not a crazy animal lover but I hate to see things in pain and animals and/or people hurt. Cruelty in general should just stop....... FOREVER!!! (ever) (ever) (ever) *echoes*
