do i have to include my property tax in my mortgage? or can i pay my property tax on my own once a year?

    Are you talking about stamp duty? There is no specific property tax in the UK

    You appear to be getting USA answers. Here, if you have a mortgage, the bank wants to make sure the property taxes are paid, so they make you do escrow.

    UK always ensure that they get whatever tax due to the government. In short, it is inclusive in your mortgage. Have a check on the mortgage section on Porterbrown, or seek legal advice from them - it's Free!

    if you put 20% down, you have the right to chose. just tell your bank. I would caution you, be sure you have this money at the time it is do, or your property will be on the courthouse steps. The county is not as forgiving as your mortgage company - it will be sold.
