A Sculptors Vision any input ?

A Sculptors Vision

A boy staring at a piece of marble.

A stranger on his journey stops.

Why do you stare so long and hard

at that stone asked the stranger?

Well Sir, I see all the beauty inside of it.

I see nothing but stone, said the stranger.

The boy than replied,

I see beauty and love, caring and sorrow.

I see a mothers love for her child.

I see tears and death.

With that the stranger shook his head,

turned and walked away.

Little did he realize,

that the young boy was "Michelangelo".

Who later in life would go on to sculpt,

the "Pieta".

    very moving!

the last 4 lines do not fit with the rhythm and story, try tweaking them a little, maybe strike them completely and continue the boy's story to make it a little more obvious who the sculptor is, without giving the answer outright. the audience doesn't have to have it handed to them on a silver platter, make us think!
