Instant messaging on AT&T phones/plans?
Will it cost me any money to go onto the actual IM application? Like, if I click the AIM button, or the Y! Messenger button, does it give me charges to my internet?
Also, how much doe it cost each IM message?

its not per IM message it charges internet so i suggest an internet plan and probly unlimited because the other ones arent worth it. it'll charger for how much kb usage

No If IM was on included on the phone when you bought it, it shouldn't cost for internet because it doesn't go through the internet. Each IM that you send and receive is charged like a text message. I have had 2 at&t phones that both had IM and I used it and it didn't charge me internet charges and I don't have a data plan or anything like that. It should just charge you like your text messaging.
