Reasons to or not to jail break my iphone?

I do not recommend jail breaking your iphone.

PROS

You have access to a wide variety of games, and other applications.

You can download apps that can allow you to customize your iPhone completely.

CONS

If your iPhone breaks you cannot recieve a new one because jailbreaking it will void the warranty.

It can slow your iPhone down.

You have to restore your iPhone so you will have to redownload all music, photos, etc...

well. Jail breaking is sort of safe. If you have a 2g or a 1g iphone it's sort of safe. 3g not so much. All it does is let you get 3rd party apps. I wouldn't jailbreak your iphone if you don't want to loose all your music and stuff, but if you do, you might want to sync your music into itunes.

eh the only downside if you don't know what your doing is that it can terminate your warranty if you bring it in for help. there's a bunch of youtube videos on how to do it. make sure to watch a couple before you actually do it, so you know that someone's not giving you retarded info. it becomes a brick if you do it wrong, but i've done it several times and it's worked with no problems. it's totally worth it.

iPhone.....go ahead and jail break it. Who cares if it ruins it, it is the biggest over hyped item ever!

Top reason: Jailbreaking with Sprint will void the warranty.

My Cousin Did this and hers did break. I don't know much about it, all i know is it broke.
