should I get a iphone 3g when I am a current iphone 2g user?

So i've been thinking this for about 3 months if I should get the iphone 3g when I am a current iphone 2g user. All of my friends have the iphone 3g. I am okay with my 2g but, its just that I want the new platic shiny black and white finish and the imrpoved speakers. But, I dont know if its worth it. Tell me what you think?

    I'd wait for the new one to come out and upgrade to that. It comes out June 19th by the way
