Are left-handed people worst than right-handed?

Maybe in the middle ages, where you could probably get burned at the stake for being left-handed. But I think in the 21st century people are pretty much over all that nonsense.

Even animals are left or right handed (or pawed) you know. My cat is left-pawed and she's the sweetest thing, far from 'sinister'.

That is a myth. People used to believe this because left handed people are rare. My father and brother are left handed they are not sinister. Some of the great artist and writers were left handed.

The TRUE reason people don't like left handed people goes back to the time BEFORE we had toilet paper.

So there is a residual stigma left that "south paws" have to live with.

I look at it this way:

if the left side of the body is controlled by the right side of the brain(that's what they tell us in the medical books :)....

there are so many myths and misconceptions about left-handed people... i don't know where to start (the bible favours the right hand, obviously), the word in french for left is 'gauche' which means clumsy, maladroit. i tell you what, start by having a look at this article:

That goes back to all of the witchcraft junk (sorry) around the 1960's.

Being left handed is uncommon...which turned into not normal...which turned into not right...which turned into things like sinister.

In the 4th grade, I had an art teacher who made me draw with my right hand. She told me it wasn't right. Ha ha. I went in the bathroom and cried too! :-)

they only say that because the left hand path is supposed to be the path that leads you to hell, therefore your left hand is the hand of Satan.

if you follow that belief system.

the rest of us just say it's a left hand. :D
