Coke and Pepsi... What's the deal?

i taste a difference between coke and pepsi

i hate coke, it has a more bitter taste

i love pepsi, it is sweeter and more bubbly in your throat x3

but yeah ive tried that get two cups exactly the same put pepsi in one and coke in the other and you cant tell the difference buy my mother and i both tried it we put a sticker on the bottom of each one and we could totally tell the difference...

sprite and sierra mist not so much mr. pibb and doctor pepper not so much

mountain dew and mellow yellow i don't know about because ive never had mellow yellow ill try sometime though

They stil taste like diet Cola albeit slight different from the Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi. They have used a combination of Ace-K (Splenda) and Aspartame for sweetener. Just more marketing and artificial sweetener changes for those who don't want the calories. Go for the real thing - Coke or Pepsi. If you don't want the sugar or calories, then just drink less and exercise more! Have a Coke and a Smile or Joy of Cola with Pepsi!

Coke and Pepsi do not taste alike. Pepsi is much sweeter. I do not like Coke at all. The rest of them do taste alike. But Sprite, Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew are made by the Coca-Cola Company, and patents on last for a specific number of years and then everyone is free to copy them. I personally don't purchase any colas made by the Coca-Cola Company.

Since they're the two main cola companies they can only compete against each other. I have to say that of the two companies i like more of the pepsi products, but i like coke itself more than pepsi

When you compete with another company that manufactures the same products, in this case beverages, you want to be successful in every category. Pepsi and Coca-cola sell water, juices, sport drinks as well as soda. So you try to mimic the other company's flavors but slightly tweak it to be a little different. Personally I prefer diet pepsi to diet coke, Vernor's to Canada Dry and Sprite to 7Up.

well, some people like pepsi or coke just because of the name. For me they taste different.

Coke is the original cola. pepsi is a poor copy of coke.

The pepsi corporation recently decided to be a supporter of gay marriage and has spent over 1.5 million to promote the cause of gay marriage and is a member of the "National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce"
