    1) cat 4 hurricane that kept giving off tornadoes like every 5 minutes cause we would try to play a board game (like there is anything else to do when your power is out and your windows are boarded up) and the tornado warning sirens would go off like every 5 minutes.

    2) and when i was at my grandmas house in alabama and it was weird cause i was reading the book call "night of the twisters" and that book was like happening to me cause all night there were tornadoes everywhere and they called them PDS's (particularly dangerous situation) cause all the tornadoes were F3+ and i was soo scared all night cause the tornado sirens kept on going off.

Source(s): i had gone thru a lot of hurricanes cause i lived in florida all my life and still lovin it and love goin thru hurricanes now (depending on how strong though :P )

you're affected by submit irritating marvel. It sounds strange yet you have been by a poor ordeal. for the duration of the 1998, Ice hurricane the place many areas had no electrical energy for weeks, in January, people actually struggled to proceed to exist. inspite of the hearth going nighttime and day the temperature interior my domicile grew to become right into slightly above freezing, we wore the comparable heat outfits each and all of the time without being waiting to bathe them. For months afterwards, I wakened at nighttime to envision that my teenagers have been heat or maybe now the sound of sleet falling is stressful. I worked in a school and merely about all my pupils had issues afterwards - wetting the mattress, nightmares, behaviour issues. It gets greater constructive yet you would be able to desire to bear in mind that everyplace has the flair for organic disaster. Any domicile could have a fire. there are various places interior the States that are much less companies to tornadoes than the South so which you do no longer would desire to immigrate.

It was about 3 years ago. Maryland had the worst thunderstorm since 1978. Their were no tornadoes, but they did give off a tornadoe warning, along with a thunderstorm warning(obviously) because there was rotation in the sky. It lasted a little over 30 minuets but left one hell of a mess. Lots of lightning, lots of thunder, and yes my electricity did go out soon after watching the weather channel. I had never seen hail before, and that day i saw hail. I was really happy.

When I was at college I had a job pumping gas. One day I was filling a customers tank when there was a thunder storm and fork lightning was coming down either side of the forecourt.

I went in and said to the manager, enough was enough. you can go fill them up. He decided to lock up and I went home.
