IMPORTANT! Why do Lakers fans chant MVP for Kobe?

now this makes no sense to me

LeBron is the MVP

everytime kobe shoots free throws u hear the MVP chants.....

now to me that either means that the lakers fans are idioticly insane or big babies that lebron got MVP.

THOUGHTS?

he won the MVP deservingly and other fans decline to acknowledge that???

i just think that if someone accomplishes something that great, then all NBA fans should acknowledge that.

if kobe wins it next year and cavs fans chant mvp for lebron next year i will have the same problem with it

    they are either living in the past, or jealous that Kobe didn't get it and start chanting it like he did or something..idk weird

    Spike could have completed the action picture on a interest Kobe performed all 4 quarters, not only 3... like the 80 one pt evening. they're chanting Kobe MVP as a results of fact they're hoping for finals MVP

    They are chanting that because everybody knows that if the Lakers win the championship this year (which most likely is going to happen), then Kobe would be the MVP.

    Wishful thinking? They are delusional? I can't begin to explain the actions of those deep meaningful, down to Earth well grounded Californians. True salt of the Earth folks, those Lakers fans they are! LOL

    (Okay, I am not trying to insult ALL Californians here, just the Lakers fans and it is only in jest folks, okay? But I will say that the relatives I have out there are, I don't know....kinda pretentious maybe?) Just my observation.

    This happens everywhere even if they guy never won MVP. We (in Phoenix) sometimes still chant MVP for Steve Nash. And in Denver they chanted MVP for Chauncey and Carmelo at time. In Dallas they do the same for Dirk

    And the answer is...

    Yes, LeBron James is the MVP, he's a great player and he's gonna be the greatest player on the next deacade, but he's the 2nd best player today and he's not playing the Finals...

    Kobe Bryant is the best player in the planet today, he's playing the Finals for 6th time on his career and he's gonna win the Finals MVP.!!!!

    That's why.!!!!

    Becuse they are his fans they are saying that the way he his playing he should have been the MVP. last year when Kobe was MVP they did it for Lebron too They do it for Wade, Dirk, they did it for Magic and they did it for Jordan its just showing some team spirit

    I still fail to understand how this affects you. Laker fans chanting MVP for Kobe doesn't hurt anyone. LBJ still has his award right? Nothing will change that. So why worry over fans chanting for Kobe? I think that's the better question.

    Lebron isn't in the finals and the regular season is over. Laker fans are gonna chant and I'm sure nothing will change that.
