I HAD A 91 FORD EXPLORER, AND IT WAS A TOTAL LEMON :>(?

Its 18 years old and lasted 200k miles. Of course its going to have problems.

the spark plug gap should be .054" also double platnum plugs MUST be used because of the waste spark system, Motorcraft plugs are best for that truck. The 4.0L Ford motors do not like copper plugs. the putt putting could be from a spark plug wire that isn't on tight, number 5 plug, passenger side, back of engine is very hard and tight to get to, and pushing plug wire onto that plug is a hassle. Also the wires could be out of order at the coil pack. your coil pack: 3 4 2 6 1 5 engine: 3 6 2 5 1 4 hope this helps

How can you possibly be upset with a car that lasted for 19 years and 200K miles? You have no room to complain.

I've used two Explorers in my business for many years now - one has 170,000 miles on it and the other one has just under 200,000 miles. They are run hard and hung out to dry on a daily basis.

Believe me, if they both quit tomorrow, I still wouldn't even be tempted to call either one of them a lemon.

Uh...yeah... 1991....let's see...this is 2009, so that makes it 18 years old. With over 200,000 miles...it's not going to go well. A lot of vehicles don't go past 200,000 miles and last very well. Especially if their previous owner didn't take extremely good care of it..

you pull around about 150-200 extra pounds and see if you dont die at 50 but primwe for a heart attack way younger.now dont talk about lemons fatty unless your passing tequilla,bump bump ba bumpbump,babumpa bumpa bump bump babumptequilla
