I watched the same tape. She was resisting and becoming increasingly violent, so the cop has a bit of a dilemma. He could use his sheer size and muscle and punch out granny or just pick up her scrawny butt and throw her to the ground. Of course, if he does that he will probably break bones. The Taser make look awful, but granny doesn't get thumped or dumped and is not injured. In short, the use of the Taser prevents a more violent action and avoids injuries. Granny needs some quality time in jail. Just 'cause your old doesn't give you the right to be an assaultive jerk.

well regardless of you motive. several years ago it was reported that a 7 yr old child was tased by a cop. (what a dumba$$)

don't presume because she was tased that she was guilty. Punishment does not prove guilt!!! Cops in case you don't know are NOT judge and jury on the spot.

Any shape, size or sex can commit a crime. Makes no difference.

Police officers are trained to read situations, the old lady could have had a gun, Does a gun in the hands of the elderly or young make it any less dangerous?
