What's your favorite Steampunk literature?

Novels, graphic novels, e-books, zines -- what have you read?

I've read HG Wells and Jules Verne, as well as "The Difference Engine" by William Gibson.

I read "Steampunk" the graphic novel. I just discovered yesterday that my library has all the volumes of "Girl Genius," so I'm thrilled.

What have I missed that you think is Steampunk in theme?

Well, how interesting! I didn't even know the term, much less what it means.

H.G. Wells, yes, and Jules Verne but don't leave out Mark Twain. I haven't read William Gibson.

Interesting that Mary Shelly is included in the Wiki description and I understand why.

Wonder if there's a "punk" sub-genre in which Isaac Azmov fits? If so, I lay claim to that one. He's the man!
