What should I make for Supper?(We use Supper instead of Dinner where I live)?

I don't want to recipe to take a hour or more to cook.

I like vegetables.

I am cooking for someone else so it has to be more American instead of Foreign. (Foreign meaning Chinese or Spicy food.)

It can be too spicy.

I don't want more then seven ingredients.

I describe this person as a meat and potatoes man.

Yes I enjoy spicy and foreign food myself.

Sauteed vegetables and brats on fresh buns. Buy frozen brats at a local butcher shop, and fresh buns at Jewel. As for the vegetables, sautee red and yellow peppers, onions, salt and pepper and cucumbers in a light butter sauce until crisp.

Make meatloaf and mashed potatoes, I'm going to assume you already have a meatloaf recipe since its pretty basic.

It'll only take like 15 mins to prep so you can just sit back the rest of the time.

Serve a salad on the side.

Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and corn on the cob. Top that with fresh baked biscuits and he'll want to stay.
