How to make an admin account vista?
I am just a user account but need admin to install certain programs. How can i make this account an admin so i can install these?

You need to be an Admin to make another Admin account.
There should be an admin account on your computer where you can change your account type to admin.

Go to:
Start>Click your pic icon for the comp>Change Account Type>Then choose Admin
Or
Start>Control Panel>User Accounts>User Accounts>Change Account Type> Choose Admin
If that doesnt work, you need to sign onto an Admin account on that computer and follow the same routine, But after the 2nd time you click User Accounts, instead of choosing Change Account Type you click on Manage Another Account then choose your account and make it an Admin
