Spiritually speaking...Is your spirit reflected in everything you do and say?
Is your spirit dull and grey or bright and shiny?
This idea that my spirit is reflected in everything I do and say made me stop and consider: "what must my spirit look like". I came to the conclusion that my spirit is not nearly as bright and shiny as I would like it to be.

In my youth it was magenta and chartreuse,
But these days I barely can manage puce.
The gloss is gone, the gleam has faded,
but I'm not blue, just a little jaded.

Sometimes it's what you can't see that's more potent. My spirit is refreshing, It's there only when I am at my best--in love--to guide me in the right direction.
Imagine the rainbow that reflects all these colours, it only shows up after an occasional rain shower and when it's sunny...my spirit only reflects sensations that are ethereal and ephmereal.

But, trouble's cloudy breath does dull my shine
When the world divides into 'us' and 'them'
And the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Ride, tarnishing the beauty of my diadem.
