    ok- there are 2 different shows/sketches

    the quote is "never a willow" from the Dennis Moore highway man sketch- they also talk about the flower Lupins- episode11 of series 3

    lady mert is right--you are conflating two different episodes. the "how to identify trees" episode's recurrent line is only "the larch." and it winds up being every other tree mentioned/photo slide shown--hence, the joke.
