First, you're clearly not a smart person.

Freedom of speech means the government will not punish you for speech. It does not apply to personal consequences. E.g. - joining the KKK will cause people to not like you, but it will not result in charges being brought against you.

I didn't read the rest of your screed, but I'll make two simple points.

(1) She obviously wasn't fired for being a homophobe. How do we know this? Because Trump expressly stated that she would not be fired for being a bigot a few weeks ago.

(2) Trump already explained that she is being fired because she is not performing her contract. Ms. America/States have to do certain PR related things, she failed to do them, she doesn't keep her job.

Hey Joe, before you get up in arms about why she was let go you should read the entire story. It had nothing to do with freedom of speech, or what she said about gay marriage. It has to do with her not fulfilling the obligations she agreed to in her CONTRACT. She breached her contract. This is America and we have laws against breaching a contract. She didn't show up to appearances she was required to attend, and she had nude photos, which is also a breach. This had nothing to do with gay, straight, black or white. It had to do with a contract she did not follow.

Edit: Everyone doesn't believe in the Bible. Its funny you talk about having freedom and choice and yet you complain about people not following the Bible. We live in a democracy, not a theocracy.

Carrie's response was that she had been doing everything she was asked to do. Common sense would tell you that the left put on a lot of pressure and Donald folded like a cheap suit. Amazing that even though their sanctified one, his second in command and the meek and mild Secretary of State have the same views, she is hated for holding to her beliefs because she is a conservative.

p.s. does it really make a lot of sense, would anybody under that kind of scrutiny to begin with miss 30 assignments; give me a break? Both she and her attorney stated she was following their requests completely, time will tell.

She was never Miss America, she's Miss California but it's the same situation either way.

She refused to perform her job assignments, missing more than 30 assignments in a row. Turns out, no employer will allow you to simply not show up for work.

Wasn't it because she didn't want to do the pagent's work.
