Water games no balloons please?
I work at a school and today we are allowing the kids to get wet. Most of the "water hour" will be spent throwing cups of water at eachother and just splashing around. But I want at least one or two games. No waterballoons I don't want to clean them up

Water balloons are fun and you are denying this to those poor children because you are too lazy to clean up a mess? Take heart of the fact that balloons decay at the same rate as an Oak leaf. So clean up is unnecessary. OR: have the children do the cleaning up. If they want to play, they have to pay. This may serve as a valuable lesson they will use for the rest of their lives, and you are denying them that, too. So let them have a blast with the water balloons and taste the responsibility of cleaning up their own mess as a team effort.

Hi I'm a children's ministry director and i have a water day with my little ones over the summer... I use these games with age 3-Kindergarten.
Dribble Dribble Drench
This game is just like "Duck ,Duck, Goose ", except that as "IT" walks
around the circle with a cup or pitcher of water. When they say dribble
to each player they dribble a few drops of water on their head.
When they say "Drench" that player gets the rest of the water on their head or back. Then the wet player chases”IT" and tries to tag her before she gets to the wet players place.
Piggie Freeze
Child's wading pool, filled with water and lots of ice cubes and a plastic bowl or bucket for each participant. Designate a time limit. Whoever has the most ice cubes is the winner
