I had a horrible time sleeping last night...?

So many thoughts going through my head and I just couldn't fall asleep...

What do you do, when you can't sleep and what is it that usually keeps you up at night?

Anxiety sometimes keeps me up. It's awful. Like you it's like I can't get the thoughts to turn off.

I just get up, go read or play on the computer until I am sleepy enough to actually fall asleep, else I'll just toss and turn all night and not get any sleep at all.

Good luck! Hope you get a good night's rest later tonight. :)

Aww, I'm sorry you didn't sleep well. I have used alot of the techniques mentioned above The melatonin and the self love and the reading and the showers all help. But, another thing that can help is to take out some paper and write down all the thoughts you're having, and tell yourself, "Ok, I will tackle these tomorrow morning" It puts your mind at ease..

I feel asleep relatively fast, but I wake up during the middle of the night and think very random stuff.

Last night I woke up and starting thinking about the name Michael, and how its the name of the arch angel or whatever. Weird.

Sometimes I wake up and start thinking about the book I'm reading and I'm half asleep and my thought are barely coherent.

i have this puppy that my grandma gave me when i was like 1 2 or 3 that sometimes helps and i have a thing that i call a squishy pillow cause its a pillow with little beads it feels like and sometimes i just like put everything of my head except my nose and my eyes and just shut my eyes

the reason i have a horrible time sleeping sometimes is because i remember one time it was the first time for chorus was starting the next day and the first days of school and stuff like that when i have a funeral to go to the next day

K, I always have has sleeping problems. My advice would be to buy some melatonin at a drug store, You don't need a prescription, and it helps regulate your sleeping patterns. And don't eat right before bed, cause it can actually keep you up.

Dude, you and me both! And I was hella drunk and I still couldn't pass out. I woke up this morning with a horrid pain in my back.

When I can't sleep I usually lay in bed, read a comic or text message til I pass out.

Television usually keeps me up but if I dont feel sleepy then television will keep me up longer... If I have an early morning I usually take an extra Benadryl Or two before hand.
