    R = p L/ A

    For example:With consistent units:

    Measure the resistance "R" of the wire with an ohmmeter

    Measure the diameter "D" of the wire with a micrometer

    A = pi * (D/2)^2

    Measure the "straight" wires length "L" with a ruler,or etc.

    Convert the units above to metric if needed:

    resistivity = p = R*A/L

    Measure the resistance R of a piece of wire. Measure the wire diameter D and the length between the measurement points L.

    R = ρL/area ==> ρ = R*piD/(4L).
