It all depends on what engineering discipline you trained for ...my advice would be to make some enquiries regarding availability of work first & that'll help you decide where to go....

We have a lot of construction going on in the South East Corner of Queensland at the moment & I have noticed that there are professionals from all parts of the world working on various projects....

I'd suggest one of the capital cities, for your studies and profession.

Sydney is the biggest, busiest, most industrial city, pretty warm in summer /pretty cold in winter

Melbourne is also pretty serious, good shops, unpredictable weather ("it can be four seasons in one day")

Brisbane is becoming more industrialised, there are heaps of opportunities for any sort of engineer, its warmer (except for this winter!!)

I'd start off in one of these cities, and there would easily be possibilities of relocating to smaller cities or other places, it depends on your job.

And i think it depends how job-focused you are. If your career is your life, go for Sydney. If you're looking for more, go for Brisbane (it has great close-by holiday places).

it doesn't make a difference which city, that you're single.

If you decide to live here in Australia, with your qualifications you are probably better of live in the cities like Sydney,Melbourne or for warmer weather conditions Perth or Brisbane..

    Good Luck Mate!!!
