Sorry you are feeling unwell!! The best thing to do is avoid all foods and liquids (even water) until the vomiting stops. When you are able to go a few hours without vomiting, try sipping on some water. Don't drink it too fast or drink too much of it or you will more than likely end up vomiting again. If you are unable to drink, you can also try sucking on ice chips. This helps alleviate nausea. Be careful about trying to sip water, because if you attempt drinking too soon after vomiting you will continue to be sick and will end up getting more dehydrated. When you feel able to eat again, stick to the BRAT diet--Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast. This is just until your stomach recovers...it's best to have a bland diet as your stomach will be very irritable and sensitive. If you are unable to stop vomiting/keep liquids down and you are not getting better within 24 hours then you need to go to the ER. It is more than likely the flu or food poisoning. Feel better soon!

  • Sounds like its a stomach virus. I've had many of those and a lot worse ones so my advice would be to just relax all day and sleep if you can and stay close to a bathroom. If you can't keep anything down then don't try drinking or eating anything until you haven't vomited for a while, preferably an hour or so. Then try some ice chips or little sips of water but be sure not to gulp it down. Also, keep track of the intervals of time between each time you vomit. Sounds like a 24 hour thing but like the girl above said, go to the ER if it lasts longer than that, if you see blood, or if it starts getting worse (like vomiting every half hour-15 minutes)

Sorry you aren't feeling well, hope you feel better soon! If you have any other questions ask me because I'm basically like an expert at these things
