Brazil's Portuguese Translation help?
I got a message from someone in Brazil, but I have no idea what it means. I got to figured out some of the stuff, but there's this part that I'm kind of confused.
It said:
"Obrigado para a compra"
I know Spanish and it kinda looks like "Obligada a comprar" (forced to buy). I'm confused. Can anyone tell me the real meaning of it?

it has nothing to do with the meaning of spanish in this portuguese sentence.
"Obrigado pela compra" means - thank you for buying (something).
Obrigado/ Obrigada can mean also forced to do something, but to understand it with that meaning it depends on the context. Ex: Eu fui forçada/obrigada a fazer aquilo - I was forced to do that!
Obrigado pela compra - it's simply : Thanks! Thank you!

It should be:"Obrigado pela compra" which means "Thanks for buying"
"Obrigado" in Brazilian/Portuguese is Thank you.
