Depends on what's herniating really. The most common hernia is a uterine hernia. i.e. the uterus herniates thru the vagina. For that there are 2 options.
Conservative and surgical.
If the hernia is of a low grade and reducible, a pessary can be fixed at the cervix preventing herniation. Otherwise a surgery which reinforces the ligaments holding the uterus.
If the hernia is not uterine. i.e. bladder or colon...then it's mostly surgical. ( a pessary can still help in a colonic herniation)
A gynecologist would be able to determine whether it's uterus, bladder or colon.
Good luck :)
