the band 311 pronunciation..?

is the ska band 311 pronouced three-eleven or three- one one...ahha kind of silly to ask i just feel as if iam calling them the wrong name..so if you know please help!

    It's three-eleven. The band's name actually originates from the police code for indecent exposure. A former member was arrested for skinny dipping and overheard an officer use the term.
