What can I do about moles and raccoons in my garden?

We've been planting a garden, and I don't know how do keep these away. Any suggestions? We have tomatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, corn, peppers, onions, and we'll put carrots in later.

Put up an electric fencer. You can get a battery powered one or electric. For raccoons set the wire about 10 inches off the ground. The raccoons will do more damage than the moles.

    1. set up weight detected grenade thing where when the animal steps on it, the animal with get blown up

    2. put barb wires around your garden and then stab the animal when it gets stuck

    3. poison all the food

    4. stand from ur porch and shoot the animal when it comes close

lol no im just kidding dont do any of these crazy things... hmmmm there is not that much you could do except try putting out rodent traps or putting up a fence around your garden... my problem is birds they take a bite of my tomatoes and then let them rot... good luck with ur garden

Never had these problems, but have very pesty squirrels here now. Been here about 4 years and they even ate my petunias, and dug in the pot to get the roots.

Well, one man I know who had a big problem with ground hogs said he shot every one of them, but I know you don't want to do that. Maybe the electrical fence would help if there's no chance a child would get hurt from it.
