Do you like the name Clara, for a baby girl?

I like Clara or Klara,

Clara with a C looks more ordinary, so I like the spelling with a K better, but I'm hesitant to use that spelling because Adolf Hitler's mother spelled her name Klara, I love that spelling but I really don't want my daughter to get any trouble.

her full name would be Klara Jamie Alexander

    I like it a lot, and I agree with the "C" and "K" thing. Klara makes the name look more exotic. However, I would never be able to use it on a name for my child as it's too close to my sister's name, Claudia. Anywho, as the Clara Jamie Alexander, I think the name flows well but I hate the middle name - IMO it's a boys name. How about Clara Jane Alexander?

    Clara is prettier. I don't really like Klara. Also Jamie is not a good middle name for Clara.

    It's a bit old fashioned but is still feminie and pretty although I do find it a bit plain. Why would you give your daughter 2 masculine (or one masculine sounding and one masculine) middle names? If there's a personal reason then fair enough but why not Clara Jamie Alexandra/ Klara Jamie Alexandra?

    Klara Jamie Alexander-i personally love it...it is different. adolf is dead and so is his mother-by the time your lil one grows up Im betting thats the last thing anyone is going to think of. good luck-congrats and God bless

    I like it with a C because it is classy and K sounds like you are trying to modernize an older name and I just dont like that. I do know that nobody would know off hand how to spell hitler's mom's name... let alone even know what it is, so no harm there. I love the name though. It is my sister's middle name, and my middle name is margaret.

    I think Clara Margaret is a cute name

    I think it's an extremely cute name! I prefer Clara to Klara. Klara looks cheap and sloppy to me.
