Listen to Joe Morgan announce a baseball game, or get a root canal?
I'd take the root canal

Without a doubt, a root canal. At least you can get novocaine to dull the pain. Last I heard there is no novocaine that is effective for ones ears!

Haha yeah someone asked a similar question a few days ago, and it was a really tough decision. I came to this conclusion: Getting a root canal is bad, but the pain goes away eventually and you can take something to ease the pain. Listening to Joe Morgan announce a game can cause you to actually get dumber. So I'll take the root canal.
Joe Morgan thinks he's always right, I'd be typing all day if I told you everything I didn't like about him. He would be ok to listen to if he didn't act like his opinion is the only one that matters.

Well, I've already had a root canal but no doubt I'd have another one then have to endure listening to Joe Morgan announce a game.

Haha I would still take Morgan because I can just change the channel. I like Jon Miller, but Joe Morgan is up there on the list of worst baseball announcers ever.
Baseball's WORST broadcasters:
1. Tim McCarver (Fox Saturday game of the week)
2. Ken Harrelson (You can put it on the board... YES)
3. John Sterling (It's an A-bomb for A-rod)
4. Joe Buck (does it get anymore boring than him?)
5. Charlie Steiner (self explanatory)
Everyone else list your most hated baseball broadcasters!

Some times I don't mind Joe Morgan so I guess I would have to say him because a Root Canal would suck.

I'm actually leaning toward the root canal. I still remember when the Astros played in the Astrodome before Minute Maid Park, and everytime a game was held there, Morgan would talk about how "he" technically was the one who hit the first homerun in that place (never mind it was an exhibition game). I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't stand listening to that man. In fact, I'd take the root canal with the anesthesia. -----------------------GOOD QUESTION.

Root canal but give Joe a break. He was one great baseball player. Go Reds.

If I don't care for a sports announcer, I usually hit the mute button but I would rather listen to an ex-baseball player announce a game than someone regular announcer who has never played the game & that goes for football aswell

i love joe morgan!
and i hate the dentist so a root canal is out of the question.

Wow! I didn't know his announcing got on so many peoples nerves.
I usually block out most of the announcers comments in general. It must be hard on them to continuously chat without dead air for an entire game. There's bound to be a bunch of meaningless comments by all of them let alone Joe.
I guess we will all have to live with it toothache and all.
