I rode a 25th Anniversery model Sportster for 3 years, once cross country. Vibration is not a major problem. However, if most of your riding is on rural backroads, you might be happier with something along the lines of a Triumph Tiger, Suzuki SV650, BMW 1150GS or KTM's 990 Adventure. All are great bikes that are fun on street and in the outback. Although not true dirt bikes.

Anyway, I ended up in a new friendship group recently (I'm 16 now), and he's in it and I hadn't seen him since, and it turns out that he had really fancied me but was really nervous and had tried to say I had beautiful eyes but his nerves made him screw it up!! He still likes me, but he's not exactly massively popular with the ladies, so... well let's just say there are reasons that the feeling is not mutual!
