how can you not be shy around your crush?

i have a crush on this guy who's my best friends older brother and i've known for 11 years, and i always am really friendly and fun, but whenever he's around, i get extremely shy, and i need help!!

    You just have to see him as a friend, any other friend. Guys sometimes thinks its weird if a girl is always shy around them, might take them as the boring type so just try to act more friendly and talk more around them!
