Warped tour questions?

I was at Warped Tour on Long Islandlast year and probably will be this year too. It's summer so you'll probably want to wear something comfortable and LOTS of sunscreen.

You'll probably be standing the entire time unless you find a place to wander off to far away from the stages to sit on the ground.

It starts around 11am, i think and goes through like 8-9pm. There's a bunch of stages. You can stay at the main stage and watch the big acts or wander and check out some smaller ones. They don't let anyone in until 10am (i think) but there really isn't all to big a reason to rush. It's usually held at a sprawling venue and so it's not like getting there super early is going to help you, especially with a bunch of stages. You can get to the front of a mob pretty easily.

There'll be some free stuff being given out is just like energy drinks, sampler CDs to bands you've never heard of and other mostly unnecessary merch. There's also a bunch of tents that have things you can buy - mostly band related merch. Food's a bit expensive so bring enough money - you're not allowed to bring in food or even water. $10-15 should be good for food unless you plan on eating both lunch and dinner there....then maybe $25. Then you may want to bring some money for shirts, cds, etc.

You can bring an empty water bottle though and fill it up for free and I think you can bring unopened bottles. If you bring anything else they'll make you pour out to make sure it isn't alcohol. I believe there's also a limit of one or two unopened bottles per person so don't try bringing six.

Oh yeah, try to limit the amount of stuff you bring.

A) you're going to be carrying it around all day

B) it's easy to lose things, especially if you get into the mosh pits and/or start crowd surfing.

Overall, it's a lot of fun and you get to hear some bands that you know you like and a bunch of bands that you've never heard of, some of which you'll find that you will like. You can even sometimes get autographs/photo-ops with some bands (especially smaller names). I got pics and autographs from Reel Big Fish and Against Me! last year.

warped is pretty fun, its just crowded, loud and hot lol

um i wouldn't bring anything but your money, you would either lose it or get tired and annoyed of carrying stuff around

they dont let you bring water, and when your there, they dont even let you keep the caps to the water you do buy, and the food and drinks are expensive so make sure you bring enough money for that

each band has there own tent somewhere around the place, sometimes members will be there and they just sell all there junk their, so yeah if you want shirts and cds, bring money

umm, when you first get there, try to get a map, it gives the times and stages for when each band is on, so its alot easier and helps you not miss everybody

you should probably get there alot earlier then when it actually starts, the ticket line will be crazy

i'm no longer a super fan of punk track yet I do hear to some like Pennywise, undesirable faith and Anti Flag. Warped excursion ought to alter with the instances. i've got been going for a even as and that i plan on going this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days because of the fact there are going to be some wonderful bands taking part in. back interior the day punk replaced into mainstream.
