Is Dracula by Bram Stoker any good?

It's very good, actually.

But it was written in Victorian times and so uses Victorian language, which is a little different.

Give it a try- no reason not to- and be patient, you should get the hang of the language and just get involved in the story before too long.

The plot is amazing! It's pure original imagination makes it a worthy read....

however, it's written in a journalistic style that I found extremely irritating. Some may call this a positive point of the novel, but I didn't really care for it. It's still worth the read, though.

I would recommend it, personally enjoyed it very much... if it is to your liking I highly recommend Dracula's Guest and Other Short Stories as well.

Yes, it is the original vampire novel, before all the copycats.Bear in mind, though, that it is a Victorian novel written in Victorian style, which you may find heavy going.

I liked the book when i was in school. He wrote it in a sense that everybody could read it without having to look it up in a dictionary.

Is it GOOD? Its a CLASSIC! But if you want an even better vampire book read Interview with a vampire. Much better book!

I liked it. So, it really depends on the kind of movies you like to watch. If you like vampire movies then I recommend you t watch it. I also like interview with a vampire and twilight.

i only read half.. but that half was WAY better than i had expected... i only stopped because i got distracted with school work...

but i definitely plan on finishing it some day.. lol.
