    = 1/3(x + 2) - 1/3(x + 3)

    = 1/3x + 2/3 - 1/3x - 3/3

    = - 1/3

    Answer: - 1/3

    x/3 + 2/3 - x/3 + 1

    x/3 +2/3 - x/3 - 1= -1/3

    =1/3(2-3)=-1/3

    Expand first by removing brackets:

    (1/3)x + 2/3 - (1/3)x - 1 = (1/3)x - (1/3)x + 2/3 - 1

    = 0 - 1/3

    = -1/3

    well a 1/3 - 1/3 = 0

    (x+2) - (x+3)

    = x - (x - 1)

    thats simplified

so x = -1 but thats solving it

take 1/3 out as common factor

    =1/3(x +2 - x -3)

    =1/3(0 - 1)

    = -1/3

    x/3 + 2/3 - x/3 - 3,

    cancel the x/3 it becomes 2/3 - 3 = ?

    it becomes

    - 1/3

It's in simplest form when it can't be broken down any more. For example, if you have 4b^2+2b it could be simplified to 2b(2b+1) and that can't be broken down anymore! Good Luck!

    take 1/3 out

    1/3(x+2-(x+3))

    =1/3(x+2-x-3)1/3(2-3)

    =1/3(-1)

    =-1/3
