Your songs will need to be in wav, mp3, Ogg Vorbis or aiff format for Audacity to recognize. If not they will need to be converted.
I don't know what result you want but here's basically how to cut.
The tutorial will help further.
Left click, hold and drag on the waveform to highlight the section you want to cut/remove. Go to Edit and click Cut. The section will be removed.
Export and save via the file menu to the format of your choice.
There's no one click does all approach - you have to tell the program what you want it to do.
