Is there a way to make...?

Is there a way to make rolled fondant without using glycerin? I only want to make it once for my mother's b-day cake and I don't want to go out and buy some weird ingredient that I will probably never use again. Is there a simple substitute, or should I stick with buying store made rolled fondant?

yes u can use premade honey instead of glycerin, but it wont be as thick and will be sorta sticky, it would be better to use glycerin but honey adds a good yummy taste and also it changes the color a tad.
