How do you beat interference?

I have a wirelessG router and my new neighbor apparently has a wirelessN. My speed has gone from 2.7 mbps to .3 mbps. My signal is excellent theirs is Fair (where I use my computer). How can I improve my speed? Please and thank you.

    Shift your channel and or the ultimate solution, use a wire.

    There are many channels to chose from and by default most are on the same ones. When you wireless device will go to transmit it will see there are other computers transmitting and wait for it to get quiet before proceeding to transmit. If you are transmitting on a channel that other people are not using this problem will be substantially diminished.
