Reasonably priced Hotel in New York for Sep trip?

There are three of us - one couple and one solo traveller. Staying Wed to Mon in month of Sep we are travelling over for a wedding so are trying to keep costs low....can you help?!

    2. Cosmopolitan Hotel-Tribeca - 95 West Broadway - Telephone: 888-895-9400, 212-566-1900 - Rooms with two double beds offer a great deal at $159 for groups of four traveling together.

    3. The Gershwin - 7 E. 27th St. - Telephone: 212-545-8000 - $99 and up - Primarily frequented by European and Asian guests, this New York City hotel offers a fun, funky vibe and clean rooms for a great price. Most rooms offer private baths, but there are also some dormitory-style accommodations. Available suites are great for families & groups. Be sure to check online for specials.

    4. New York Hotel - 481 Eighth Avenue (at 34th Street) - Telephone: 212-971-0101 - $99 and up - Part of the Ramada chain, this hotel is conveniently located to both subways and the Jacob Javitts Center. Rooms are small and sometimes a bit worn, but they are reliably clean and often have great online specials.

    Have a look on http://www.gekko.com/ for New York hotels. They have a huge list, and you can set your budget so it only shows you the hotels that are right for you. A nice little tool.
