This £6.50 Levy for broadband?

is just the start of the GOVERNMENT having full control of the Internet.Every other country has private business supplying this and upgrading it.Now we have ANOTHER TAX for a service which most already have and a speed lower than anywhere else. Why are we not rioting in the streets at the continuous erosion to our freedom?

Update:

Chuckler, that could explain why the country is in the $hit it's in.

Update 2:

GEORGE B The RIOTING is rhetorical. The issue is ANOTHER STEALTH TAX AND THE START OF GOVERNMENT OWNED BROADBAND!!!!!

its a complete joke, they must be thick as s@#t if they don't realise that coming up with this sort of crap at the moment is going to do nothing more than make the electorats blood boil. im beginning to think that its just 1 big wind up. although i am dumbfounded that the other parties cant see the wood for the trees and set their wheels in motion for whitewashing the next election.

I can't even get broadband so why should I pay it. BT won't upgrade the telephone exchange in my area. I am going to kick up such a fuss to OFCOM when I get charged.

50p I thought it was extra per month.

New Labour tax the hard working and let the rich get away with anything.

    They disgust me.

Peaceful demonstration is the acceptable and civilised British way of getting our point across-or are you one of those football thugs?

Because most people are complete cowards in the UK and sadly will only wake up when it is too late.
