first of all you have to have an itunes account(need a credit card)

    1. you download apps from the itunes store some are free some are good.

    2. you get music you've downloaded or have in computer into itunes.

    3. you press on the app and keep it pressed till it shakes..then it will have an X thats how u delete it.

    4. yes only if you dont have an ipod touch second generation.

    5. go to the app store (there an app on itouch) and just downloaded . must have wireless internet.

As soon as you connect that cable it will sync every song , movie, app into your ipod.

well, for the first one i dont really know. It's WAYY easier to just download them from the ipod. (i explain more in the answer for question 5 )

    2. it's the same way for all the other iPods. You download your music to the computer (like maybe off limewire, what i do) then make a file with all the songs you want on your ipod then go onto itunes and add that file onto the computer and plug in the co into the computer and the other end in the ipod your ipod will show up on the computer an then click sync.

    3. once you have unlocked your ipod (meaning, from when you turn it on you gotta slide that bar) just hold the screen for a little bit then all the apps with start to shake, an then you click on the app that you want to delete and something will put up asking if you want to (you can only delete the games you have added, not the internet and everything that came with it when you first buy it)

4.uhh, you should be able to listen to it without sound. It might just be the video or mybe your volume is not up all the way, if it's all videos and your volume is up all the way you should call Apple. Most Ipod touches have alot of prolems, like my friend had to get his fixed about 7 times.

    5. Ok, well, on your ipod on the first page, it shoud be there unless the previous user moved it to a different one, there will be an app store. which the Apple store where you buy all your apps. to buy an app you need to have an account with iTunes.

Yea, you do need that little cord to concet to the computer, you could just go to best buy or any store that sells electrioncs and just ask someone who works there to help you find the right cord.

Hope i was a help, and good luck getting it work

    1. When you download a free app, you get it from a website and then you download it onto the computer? After that what do you do?

well first off download itunes from itunes.com than on there or by using the app store on your ipod u can buy free apps there, dont download them offline from other websites.

    2. How do you put music into the Ipod Touch? ^.^

drag songs into your itunes library, once u have the songs in, plug in your ipod with the usb cord and it should start to sync the songs on

    3. How do you delete some unwanted apps? (the previous user left some......strange apps) -.-

to delete apps on the ipod hold ur finger on an app untill it starts to shake, than click the x in the corrner of the app u want to delete

    4. When I go onto youtube, the videos that I watch don't have sound, do I have to use a earphone? D;

if u have a first gerneration (witch is black around the edges and has no buttons on the side than yes u need headphones, the second gen has volume rockers and silver edge, that one does not need headphones, just make sure the volumes up

    5. Can you download apps straight from the Ipod Touch? ^.~

yes use the app store icon on your ipod touch, but u must make an itunes account through the itunes store on ur computer first, and sync ur ipod

Oh and I know that u need this cable....to connect it to the computer...to.......i dun know .-.

the small end goes in a usb part of ur comp, the wider part goes in ur ipod. u need the itunes program on ur computer for it to work tho

but using the cable with the computer and ur ipod plugged in charges the ipod, even if ur not in itunes

So i hope u can answer these questions or there goes my money...

    1. When you download a free app, you get it from a website and then you download it onto the computer? After that what do you do?

You can only download apps from the iTunes store on your computer, or right off of your iPod via a wi-fi connection and the iTunes App Store. If you download it off of your computer, once you sync your iPod Touch with iTunes (by plugging in the USB cable), the application will be on your iPod. If you get it directly off the App Store on the iPod, you need to nothing, it will be automatically installed.

    2. How do you put music into the Ipod Touch? ^.^

The easiest way would be to automatically sync your iTunes library with your iPod touch (this is the default setting). This will transfer all of your music from your iTunes library to your iPod each time you plug in your iPod via the USB connection.

    3. How do you delete some unwanted apps? (the previous user left some......strange apps) -.-

Hold down the Home button while at the home screen until your applications start jiggling, then you should be able to press the red X button in the corner of each app to delete it.

    4. When I go onto youtube, the videos that I watch don't have sound, do I have to use a earphone? D;

Unless you have the most recent version of the iPod touch (the one that has a speaker), you need to use headphones.

1.You can also get it on your ipod, there is an app on there that says App Store, you click on it and you can buy free and priced apps. If you want to get it off a website, you put it into a itunes and then transfer it to your ipod.

2.You put music in by taking the plug out of the charger and put it into the computer, make sure you have itunes first. When you do go on it with your ipod pluged in, it should ask you a few questions and then put all your songs on.

3.Well you hold your finger down on one app and there should be a x on the top left corner, press it and then its gone.

4.Yes, you probaly have the generation 1 ipod touch, which means no stero and that you need earphones.

5.you can download app right off your ipod by using the app store app, it's probaly blue, and if it's not there that means the previous owner deleted it.

    1. Usually you get it from an app store, but then you drag it to iTunes and on the menu when your iPod is plugged in press sync on apps.

    2. You go to the menu when you plug it in and go to music, choose (check off) the songs/playlists you want to have on there and press sync (in the bottom right corner).

    3. You go to an app you want to delete and press it and hold it down. Then all the apps on that page should like shake and rattle and have an "x" in the top left corner of every app. you press the "x" of all the apps you want gone and a menu will come up, verifying your delete, you press delete. You can keep deleting them until you press the button on the bottom of the iPod. then it goes back to normal.

    4. Depends on which generation. If it is the 1st generation you need headphones but if it is the 2nd you just press the two buttons on the left side of the ipod. the top one to turn the volume up, the bottom one to turn it down. if that doesn't work take it too the apple store to check it out.

    5. If you have WiFi (internet) connectivity (you go to settings, then at the top it says "WiFi" you press that and either press the WiFi thing or press on the thing and type in the password for your WiFi. if you have WiFi yes you can.

?. What battery charger? The one that you connect it into the ipod and then into the computer? Cuz that would also be the "missing cable," which you need to get on iTunes to do everything i just told you.

    Hope this helps! B-)

Ok, lots of questions...lots of answers :)

First off, lets start by formatting the iPod touch....this will remove EVERYTHING from the iPod. Only do so if you want to clear it completely. You said there are some unwanted apps. So, to begin, go to itunes.com and download the appropriate version..depending if you are using a Mac or PC. Once you have downloaded it, find the file and open it following the on screen directions to install it.

After installation which usually takes about 5-10 minutes, the program will start up.

Connect the iPod touch via the USB cable to the bottom of the iPod touch and a USB port on your computer. Depending on your computer, if its a laptop it may be on the sides or back. If its a desktop, it may be on the front or back.

Once you connect it, iTunes will recognize it and show it on the left panel and bring up a summary page in the main screen. If that main screen does not show up, simply bring it up by clicking iPod Touch on the left panel. Here is an image of what it looks like: http://images.apple.com/br/mobileme/setup/iphone/i... This may also have the former users name on there to say "Mike's iPod Touch."

On the summary page you will see a Restore option. Click this and follow the on screen instructions to wipe the iPod touch clean. After it has cleaned the iPod, you will then be walked through the set up process. This is where you can enter your information and make it say "Katie's iPod."

After you have set it up with your information, you can add music by buying them from the iTunes store and transferring to your iPod by dragging it, or you can rip CD's that you own and put the music files on the iPod also. Here you can find how to rip your cd files onto your iPod http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_do_i_have_itunes_...

Before downloading free app's you need an internet connection. If you have a wireless router, connect to it through the iTouch by selecting Settings > Wifi > and select the appropriate wireless router.

Now to download free applications, you have to register an account with iTunes. After having a username and password, you can access the Application store by clicking it on the iPod's main screen and finding an Application under "Free App's"

Once you find one you like, select it, read about it, view screenshots if you would like and then select install in the top right of the information page. Upon selecting it, it will ask the for username and password you entered earlier. Enter it here, and the application will begin to download and install onto your home screen.

Regarding your youtube problem, you will only hear sound from it if it is a Second Generation Ipod Touch. If it is a first generation, it does not have speakers and you can only listen to it with headphones. To tell if your touch is 1st or 2nd, look at the back of the touch.

If the back of it looks like this (Pay attention to the black part)

    http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/7231/17814590fl...

It is first generation and does not have speakers, but you can listen to the videos with headphones.

If it looks like this (Pay attention to black part)

    http://freshgear.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/apple...

It is 2nd generation and you will hear sound when playing music/video/games etc.

I hope this was thorough enough to help you out :)

Well for starters you can transfer your apps from your computer using your Usb to iPod cable.

You put music on your iPod touch the same way you do any other iPod via iTunes (However you can buy iTunes online off your touch.)

You can delete your apps essentially the same way you add them on your PC/Mac. The iTouch has a loudspeaker so when you visit youtube you can hear sound without headphones (very nice sound quality btw.)

The iTouch has a built-in wireless card, so you can connect online anywhere their's a wireless router. When online you can purchase/download apps and buy Tunes off the online iTunes Library (Which is massive for the record.)
