I suspect a ruptured silicone implant?

I know I need an MRI but it takes 3 weeks to get in. Should I wait? Should I worry? What to do? My hubby says go to emergency, I'm worried our insurance won't cover it & then I have the emergency bill too.

Update:

I just spoke to my MD, she will c me 2moro but the MRI takes time, said Emergency will just send me back to her. Still looking for an answer from someone who's been there. Thanks everyone!

Get a professional medical opinion from someone who knows YOU and your medical history -- call your doctor.

Asking medical advice here is like asking your mechanic for tips on baking bread. You might get great advice, but you might just get a big greasy handprint on your loaf. And you have no idea if the person giving you advice is qualified to give it or not.

    Call your doctor and ask.

CALL THE ER!!! This is your life you only get one. No amount of money will replace you. Do you have fever, stiffness, diarrhea, headache, fatigue all symptoms of leakage. Look on the back of your insurance card call the 800# (open 24 hrs a day) ask for assistance.

    Good luck.

you really need to keep the silicone from running all over your body (which it WILL do) it will make you sick...I'd go as soon as possible...(and I think it might show up on an x-ray.)
