2009-2010 NBA Season Predictions?

It's awfully early, and I know, but I would just like to see what everyone else thinks before the draft, trades, and signings.

MVP- Dwyane Wade. He could really have a stand out year and will lead his team farther and farther every year.

DPOY- Trying not to be biased, I still think Howard gets it. He is a defensive machine and will stay like that.

ROY- I give it to Blake Griffin, no need to explain why.

I have high hopes for the Magic :]

I know it's long, but a full answer would be appreciated :]

Update:

Maestrosantana:

The Magic had THREE 7 game series.

And Basketball isn't chance it's an actual game, which needs skill, talent, mentality, stamina, athletisism, smarts, and emotions, NOT CHANCE.

    I love these questions, you really have to know your **** to give a good answer (which I do). :-) Otherwise, it would all be biased.

    MVP- Dwyane Wade. He had a breakout season after his injuries and I think he still has a lot more to prove, he wants to be great and he was close to it this last year.

    DPOY- Howard, because no one else will block, rebound and control the paint the way this man will.

    ROY- Griffin and then at a distant second will be Steph Curry.

    I do not agree with you having the THUNDER win 45 games, no way. I think they wont even win 30 games. The Suns will not be under .500. Portland will win more than 42 games. Heat will not win 50 games, i think they will win 40-46 games. The Hornets will win at least 45 games.

    MVP= KOBE BRYANT

    DPOY=DWIGHT HOWARD

    ROY= BLAKE GRIFFIN or STEPHEN CURRY

    2009-2010 NBA predictions:

    5.Miami Heat

    6.Atlanta Hawks

    7.Philadephia 76ers

    8.Detroit Pistons or Toronto Raptors or Chicago Bulls

    spots 5-8 will be hard to predict. 7-8 will be a tossup 2 teams will not make it

    WEST

    1.LA Lakers

    2.San Antonio Spurs

    3.Denver Nuggets

    4.Utah Jazz

    5.Houston Rockets

    Personally I believe that Boston, if healthy, is going to dominate the east as they did last year. However I don't see KG ever returning to the old KG at this age and Boston is againg, so I believe a young team might be able to overcome them in the playoffs. That young team would probably be the Orlando magic, who unlike the Cavaliers, play like a team and perform on the big stage without any trouble. Cavs have choked and LeBron cannot win it alone, so Orlando is coming out of the east again, most likely. For the West, well the Lakers, believe it or not are the only team out of the ones that made the playoffs this year that have the biggest potential for improvement. Bynum last two years was dominating until the injuries and in the playoffs was a non factor. If he stays healthy they will be more dominant than ever, and aritza is getting better and better. Kobe's still hungry and they want it just as bad as they did this year. Lakers and Magic is my prediction for the finals once again, but unlike yours I don't see how magic can overthrow the lakers in 7 when this year they lost in 5 and the lakers are the ones with potential to improve, not orlando. Finally, Lakers win in 5-6 once again.

    NBA Champs - Lakers! we all know that the most likely east champion are either celtics, cavs or magic. out of the 3, im most likely troubled for the lakers to have a rematch with magic in the finals. 2 things why, first, is they're the east champion, howard will be more determined to beat the lakers. 2nd, they got vince carter, just think of it, if vince carter is the receiving end of the ally-oop pass from the inbound instead of courtney lee, the outcome will be surely different and explosive for the magic. then thats what we gonna see all season long for the magic, a good post player and defender in howard, and a good high flying player in vince carter, who doesnt need to be the star player. thank you. ^_^

    It doesn't really matter, cuz your wrong, Lakers will beat the Caves in 6 at Staples!! (FYI the odds of having four 7 game series and winning the championship is 1 in 120, it almost happened once, first round was in 4, but its never even come close since the 7 game first round was added)

    GO LAKERS!!!
