ways to induce labor?
I am 38 1/2 weeks with gestational diabetes. hips are killing me. dialated to 2 cm. doctor does not want me walking cause of my hips. sex is impossible, hubby is in iraq. please help me!!

you could try using a breast pump. nipple stimulation can sometimes induce labor. masturbating could also work if hubby isn't around. or you could talk to your doctor about inducing...it is your right if this pregnancy has become completely uncomfortable and you can't take it anymore. it is also a good idea with gestational diabetes cause you could have an abnormally large baby.
