Is God an invention or a Discovery by the humans ?

God is an invention of enlightened human beings.

They invented God after discovering the "existential truth".

Clearly, god is an invention.

How can any god be "discovered"? By definition, god wasn't discovered, it was revealed (any god, not just the Abrahamic).

By how it looks, the concept of god was created in order to explain what could not be explained. This expanded into the teachings of the gospel and how humanity should act and treat each other.

There will come a point in the future that all things will be explained. Until then, this god concept will remain pretty stable. Unfortunately.

but discovery is something that we found but existed long before too . i like colombus etc had discovered that earth is flat but we know the truth now .

also invention is something we make but it's the opposite god has made us,the earth ,the sun everything. u must be knowing about the 5 basic elements created by god and everything else is of that.

Christians don't accept the 5th element space but don't understand that the4 emements are in space . like 1' s body has a element water which is also present in space like the other 3 elements .

god is everywhere we need to discover only. the trouble is that we want all the stuff created by god but don't want god no worship.....

Neither... God is a belief based upon hope, which is based upon the stories provided by people who claim to have had some interaction with deity or a messenger of deity. The stories go all the way back and are the earliest recorded by "modern" man. Their similarities suggest that there is a singular source and that man has manipulated the stories for his own purposes (good, bad, or indifferent).

The Kingdom of Heaven is within. There we discover what is hidden within, God, Christ within all beings. It is not to be found through religion or study but when the awareness sinks deep into the core of our being.

God's of the Judeo/Christian sort most certainly existed (were believed to exist) long before their current form. Humans have been on the Earth for at least 200,000 years. "God" chose to end the horror that was early man 6,000 years ago in the desert, in front of illiterates, and through a series of human sacrifices. God is almost certainly an invention.

god go's beyond any typical answers. god is mainly a belief, such as believing in the actions that occurred when jesus came to the people, god really wasn't discovered due to the fact that he came to the people, already knowing he was there but you could say if you wish that he was discovered. but to be an invention would never work. and im sorry to say but any wise person would put this as a question that is unanswerable. due to we do not know who/what created god and only he knows. that is why you can only belief but to be honest god as you wish to put it(in my personal opinion) was not discovered but was yet there. going back to adam and eve, where he told them about his garden, therefore the could not have been discovered but in a sense you could say so. because im not very religious just trying to use examples to better explain my answer
