How do i get higher up in the google rankings?
I am about to create a website for a small business. What is the best way to get site higher up in the rankings? As yet i do not have a web host so if this also is an issue then i can take that into consideration.

There is a whole art to it but if you start with sites that each have their own individual IP address you'll be advantaged.

I would recommend continuing your organic SEO activities. Keep focusing on new, good and original content for your site and getting links to your site and you will get back into google's good graces. I would also recommend signing in to the google webmaster, claiming your site, and seeing if it is being penalized for anything. Also, I would take a close look at what tweaks you have made. It's possible that some of them have been interpreted as spammy, and therefore your site is being punished.

Use google webmaster tools it's very easy. They show you everything about your site i mean all mistakes, better keywords, how to create better content
