Why do girls turn down guys more often than guys turn girls down?

guys are easy

I guess girls have a stronger sense of character and maybe sometimes they don't want to be looked at as 'easy' all because they slept with a guy they don't know that well; whereareas guys are just horny and wanna have sex. Not really sure though. I've always wondered about this myself.

or that they are more mature and know what they're doing....

That's why I don't go up to some female I've known for a week and ask her out....

I've never asked a guy out before just because in my family I've always been taught that the guys need to come to me.

Probably because the guy is usually the pursuer thus increasing the chanceseof getting turned down. Basically we do most of the work

girls dont make the first move as often, so they get turned down less often.

Girls have standards where as MOST guys (not all) want one thing. There standards aren't as high

Girls are better at judging who they actually have a chance with.

Because, for a variety of reasons, women have to be more selective.
