Brain drain in the future?

In the past the best and the brightest have traditionally run to the US for greater reward and freedom. Where will they run in the future if our country continues on it's current path?

I'm not sure "run" is the best word to describe it. It used to be that if you were a great talent growing up in, say, India, or China, you HAD to move to the US to maximize your earning potential. Now you can stay in your own country and do so much more easily. That said, technology and globalization has made it easier for you to live wherever there are good job prospects, which is why we're seeing far more people who work for a time in one country and move to another to take advantage of opportunities.

Meanwhile, we're doing our best in to punish people who are successful and reward those who are not. That should send them somewhere.

it would be good for the world if USA was NOT the place people run to, maybe it is time for a NEW 'new frontier'

where ever that may be, it will need to have a respect for the individual, strong incentive to succeed, and tolerance for failure, and protection of the rule of law

when you apply all those necessities, the answer still come sup as USA.

Our institutions rock. Gonna be hard pressed to find all the components we have here.
