Has the global warming crowd become this obsessed with Carbon?

I'm afraid to call - they might want to put old Rover down to return his carbon to the earth!

I wish my neighbor would reduce her dog's carbon footprint on my yard or at a minimum pick up after him.

Putting a dog down would allow the carbon sequestered in its body to be metabolized by decomposers and respired into the atmosphere as CO2 (not returned to the earth, as you say).

Also, a lot of dead animals are cremated/incinerated, which is obviously going to release CO2 into the atmosphere.

Dont make fun of them.Pets and cattle eat products that caused global warming. Green products save pollution from going out.

It's not like dogs drive cars or even watch tv. I can't imagine how else they'd reduce the poor dogs carbon footprint except by turning him into compost.

Yes, because the owners of your neighborhood pet shop are clearly representative of global warming proponents as a whole. ***.

Are they selling plastic robot dogs made by Sony? Sounds like some very sick people indeed.

    Sustainable, green, renewable, carbon footprint...

I really doubt the public at large has the slightest clue what any of these things are (especially sustainable) but they sound good and they sell products.

This is a money flow problem. Smart people are always trying to make money flow to them from dumb people. I guess that's sort of Darwinian.

Yes... and they're that easy to score extra dough off of too.
