I think he'll play until he's 36, so about 6 more seasons. Kobe won't play unless he can compete at a high level. You won't see him ride out his career on the bench like Moses Malone.

He will retire a Laker, and his number 24 will be retired.

hes 30 now, i dont see him playing more than 3 or 4 more years, u guys saying hes going to play to 38 or something are crazy, firstly he came straight out of high school so hes already played as many seasons as the average 32 or 33 year old, secondly hes been on teams that have been deep into the finals many times, firstly 2000-04 which included the 3 peat, and the last 2 seasons, thats a whole lot of games, so u can add another season to how much more hes played than the average guy simply because of all his finals games, so now you see his knees have about the same miles on them as the average 35 year old, so in 2 or 3 years hes had about as much expierience as shaq so yeah hell go to 32-33ish, id be shocked if he plays to 35, we can already see the toll all of these years and minutes hes played starting to affect him slightly, this years finals he wasnt at his peak for every game, you could see during some games he was just plain exhausted, and its going to get worse, the lakers being as good as they are hes not going to get many long summer rests over the next couple seasons
