That is very possible. You never know what would Kobe do in the next years. If you draw comparison by the number of rings won.. it won´t matter. Look at Bill Russell, 11 rings in 13 years of NBA career.

Some people are already considering Kobe to be the best player to ever play the game of basketball... but one thing is for sure.. MJ IS a legend and Kobe has a long and thorny path to reach that status.

  • Nope...MJ's career average is 30.1 PPG with multiple Finals MVPs, MVPs, Rings, & etc while Kobe's is 25 PPG with like 1 MVP, 1 Finals MVP, & 4 Rings. Kobe have like 2 or 3 prime years left.

    NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

I do not rate bball players on rings, scoring titles, etc. Those things in context of teamwork mean nothing. You base it on the value of the player. When MJ left to pursue baseball, his team dropped only 2 games. The year he came back, they dropped even more games. When other players like Wilt, Bird and Magic left their teams their impact of leaving was far worse than that of Jordan's first retirement. Hence this proves the point that the Bulls were a very good team even without Jordan. Kobe will be Kobe and that's it. No one will ever be like MJ, no one will ever be like Wilt no one will ever be like Kobe.

no, 1 finals mvp compared to 6 to go along with the fact the bulls never lost in an nba finals kobes already lost two

no. too many weaknesses. against Detroit in 2004 Finals, Against Suns in 2006 and against Boston in 2008 Finals.

there is no way Jordan would lose in the Finals playing with the most dominant center of his time(Shaq). certainly wouldnt lose by 38 pts in the NBA Finals or giving up 24 point lead in an NBA Finals.

Kobe is a gret player. one of the best. but its alright. no player has reach MJ's level anyway.

    probably not.

Kobe has already played 12+ seasons and is not even top ten all-time in any meaningful stat category, has less scoring titles, mvp's, finals mvp's, and so on.

MJ played 14 seasons (12 chi, 2 was) is top 5 in 4 all-time categories (steals #2, spg #3, pts #3, ppg #1), 10 scoring titles (7 consecutive), 5 mvp's, 6 finals mvp's, and did all of this without a dominant big man.

He has an opportunity, all he has to do is continue to make lebron look bad and he will get there. He might get more rings than mj, so that will help too.
